There is just not enough time in the day for all the work
given. I only take a half of a semester.
I could not imagine having this class while taking a full semester. I mean if you can manage to get all the work
done there is no way to take your time and do good job on the assignments. I admit I struggle with English and writing
classes anyways. So maybe it is just me,
or maybe I just have too much going on in my life. But I have just not been able to get all the work
done for this class. I took Freshman English
I last semester and struggled some because I have never taken any formal
writing classes. Even thought I
struggled I managed to finish the semester with a B. I am not sure I will even be able to pass
this class. Mostly because I have no
idea what kind of grades I have on most of my assignments in this class. Maybe the trouble I am having with the amount
of work we had to do in this class is an isolated problem that only I have
experienced. At this point I have all
but given up and am only praying that somehow I manage to pass this class so I never
have to take another English class, but if I do not pass this class I will
simply take a break from English for awhile and try again another semester.

Global Warming Fact or Fiction?
Does global warming exist?
There is a lot of discussion on whether or not global warming exists or
not. This is a good subject for me because it is something I am very curious
about myself and have always wanted to research. I am not completely sure where
I stand on this subject, which is exactly why I want to write my argumentative essay
about this. I hope that through my research
I will be able to establish a very passionate argument towards one side of the
other. I have already seen that there is
a lot of difference of opinion about whether or not global warming exists, as
well as whether or not global warming is caused by humans or just another part
of natural climate change.
Currently, to me it
seems completely logical that we are responsible for the changes in climate
going on all around us. While looking
for a good topic for my essay I realized that there are a lot of people that disagree
with me about this. Honestly I really
hope that through researching and writing my essay a whole new point of view
will be brought to my attention.
Normally when faced with a difficult writing assignment I
try to pick a subject I already know a lot about. For this assignment I am taking the opposite approach
in hopes that the joy of satisfying my own curiosity will make this assignment
a little more enjoyable then the essays I have wrote in the past.
